The world is not short of scrap metal, but the automobile creations of yesterday are becoming rare. It is our policy at Ark Recycling to Recover & explore all the possibilities to Restore / Rebuild / ReUse older cars, rather than committing them to the scrap metal route to be recycled. An old car can provide many hours of fun, frustration, education & satisfaction while being restored to it's former glory to serve as reliable, economical transport ( low insurance & road tax, plus almost zero depreciation or more often than not it will appreciate in value ). We at Ark Recycling have a long History of Addiction to Older Cars, and would be pleased to help anyone to save one from the scrap yard and the crushers, particularly if it is of a rareity eg if pre 1990 and not many of its kind around.
