As a result of our agreement with the UK process design company Advanced Recycling Technologies Ltd, we are proud to offer their long established and proven technology that creates high quality Biofuels and Recyclables from mixed household and commercial wastes without any need for prior separation.
Forget about multiple coloured bins and confusing collection schedules!
This technology can reduce the amount of waste going to landfill by 90% and eliminate the need for mass burn incinerators. From the Biofuels, we have the potential to generate Electricity for use on site, or for input into the national Grid and so earn Carbon Credits !
The Recyclables Reclaimed in the process can be sold into their relevant markets.
The Residual lower grade recyclables Reclaimed in the process are used to produce Useful & Saleable Products such as Ark Lumber, a waste derived Plastic Lumber which is a maintenance free wood substitute, ideal for Gates, Fencing, Walkways, Railway Sleepers as well Marine and endless other applications.
With our process it is also possible to reclaim some existing landfill and dump sites and restore the environment to a clean, safe and healthy state!

Licensing
Ark Recycling is a Small Company, Independent,Owner Operated, Ethical and dedicated to Research & Development of better ways to take care of Ourselves and the Environment. We operate a Recovery & Recycling Facility Licensed by Kildare County Council under Permit No. 64/2002. Our Facility is located on the site of an ancient Midden which served as the waste facility for the Hamlet of Newtown, which has existed from some time in the 16th century. We are probably the oldest recycling facility in Ireland. Here we are also reinstating the old millrace pond and the mill itself to generate electricity as it did almost 100 years ago. We have all the necessary Collection Permits for different Local Authorities. We also report to the EPA. We can collect or accept & certify all clean dry recyclables.

Ark Recycling is opposed to Landfill & Incinerator projects and have better ways to Recover, Recycle & Reuse waste streams. We offer a real & proven alternative to landfill & incinerators. We know the way to go forward whilst keeping the planet a better and safer place to live for present and future generations! Ark Recycling has real alternatives to Landfill & Incinerator Projects which are higher up the hierarchy of waste management. We have sent Nothing to Landfill or for Incineration since we established this business commercially. We have the technology to achieve Zero Waste by Recycling 100%.
